LANDSCAPE OF THE BODY REVISITED, 2023

Landscapes exist as whatever we imagine them to be, even when lacking any gesture of the natural world. These images were first made in defiance of the challenge posed by a landscape photography project. A landscape of subjects, of self, welcomes textures of dirt and Earth. Our bodies all come from the same roots—fated to break down and decay in the same way leaves and seasons do.
